Fiber Optic Cabling Systems

Fiber Optic Cabling

Tekat Security executes your Fiber Optic Cable infrastructure projects as turnkey.

Fiber optic cables have to be terminated in special boxes. These boxes are divided into three types: wall type, cabinet type and underground.

Fiber cables can never be used alone.

Cables used in this project it is extended to the cabinets or termination boxes.

They reach active devices via fiber patch cables.

Female adaptors are used to bond F/O cable and patch cable between them.

ST (round-shaped) or SC (square-shaped) connectors are used to terminate FO cables as a standard product.

Connector types such as MTRJ, LC and FC are available.

Termination made with Fusion Splice must be preferred in today's technology.

For your Fiber Optic Cable infrastructure needs, you can benefit from our services including on-site inspection, projecting, cable binding, fiber optic epoxy termination - fiber optic fusion

termination, fiber optic dB test, fiber optic OTDR test, fiber optic dB test reporting - documentation, fiber optic OTDR test reporting - documentation, and fiber optic startup.

Regardless of the size of your project, ask us for solutions and offers.

Fiber Optic Cable and its Components

Multi-Mode Fiber Optic Cables

Multi-Mode Fiber Optic Cables are local area network cables for high transmission rates that contain audio, data, and video signals.

Multi-Mode Fiber Optic Cables support all existing LAN (Local Area Network) applications and contain IEEE802.3z protocols for Gigabit Ethernet, 100BASE-SX and 1000BASE-LX.

Multi-Mode Fiber Optic Cables are manufactured in 50/125 and 62.5/125 microns.

Single-Mode Fiber Optic Cables

ingle-Mode Fiber Optic Cables are local area network cables for high transmission rates and long distances that contain audio, data and video signals.

Single Mode Fiber Optic Cables support all LAN (Local Area Network) applications that contain IEEE802. 3z protocols, 1000BASE-SX protocols (short wavelength Gigabit Ethernet) protocols, and 1000BASE-LX protocols (Long Wavelength Gigabit Ethernet), and IEEE802.3ae 10GBASE-SR/SW 10GBASE-LX4 (10 Gigabit Ethernet) protocols for Gigabit Ethernet.

Single Mode Fiber Optic Cables are manufactured in 8/125 and 9/125 microns.

Types of Fiber Optic Cables According to Their Outer Coating

Fiber Optic Cable Outer Coatings must be selected according to environment in which the cable will be used.

Unarmored cable must be preferred indoor areas and well-protected environments; cable armored against the rodents and physical external impacts must be preferred in outdoor areas, in the fields between the buildings, in unprotected environments.
